Introducing Mary Owens!
Born and bred in the stunning landscapes of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, I ignited my passion for dance at the age of 3. Mom got me started with a tutu, a twirl, and the enchanting sounds of tap shoes, sparking a lifelong love affair with the art of movement.
From the local stage to national competitions, my journey has been nothing short of spectacular. At just 11, I dazzled in a modeling segment, clinching 3rd place overall. Imagine the thrill of performing at the iconic Orange Bowl halftime show on New Year's Day at the age of 14!
Venturing forth, I secured the Assistant Teacher Dance Scholarship at 15, a steppingstone that further fueled my dedication to excellence. Education became my compass as I pursued Dance Teacher Certification levels I, II, & III, in tap, jazz, ballet, modern, and acrobatics through National Dance Association of America.
Today, I extend my knowledge and love for dance as an instructor at The Kroc Center of Coeur d'Alene. Constantly evolving, I dive into national conventions, virtual classes, and extensive research to craft innovative ways to nurture and empower those who share my passion for dance.
With every step, every beat, and every leap, my mission is simple—to inspire, to uplift, and to awaken the dancer within you. Tap, ballet, and the magic of musical theater are my forte, and I can't wait to share these vibrant rhythms with you.
